The short version: it's free, there's nothing to buy, what you write stays yours, the AI features might switch off when the money for them runs out, and this is a fan project with no connection to the podcast it's about.
By using Rewatch Club you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it. If you're under 13, you can't use it at all.
Rewatch Club is an unofficial, fan-built project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected in any way to The Rewatchables, The Ringer, Spotify, or any of the podcast's hosts or guests. It is not an official app, and nothing here should be read as speaking for them.
Podcast, film and person names are used to describe and organise films — nominative use — and all trademarks remain the property of their owners. If you own one of those marks and want something changed, email us and we will respond promptly.
Rewatch Club lets you record which films you've seen, what you thought of them, and get suggestions for what to watch. It doesn't host, stream or provide access to any film or podcast episode. Links out to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Netflix or anywhere else are just links.
Sign in is by emailed link or Google. There's no password. Keep access to your email secure, because anyone with it can reach your account. One account per person, please. You can delete your account yourself at any time from Settings.
Rewatch Club is free. There is no paid tier, no subscription, no trial that expires into a charge, and no feature that requires payment. There is nothing to cancel.
You may, if you want to, send a one-time gift through Stripe to help cover what it costs to run. If you do:
Your ratings, notes and lists belong to you. We claim no ownership of them.
To make the features work, you give us permission to store your content, and to send it to the AI providers described in the Privacy Policy so that your own recommendations can be generated. That permission exists only to run the service for you, it is not exclusive, and it ends when you delete the content or your account.
We will not publish what you write, sell it, or use it to train anyone's model on our initiative.
Suggest, Watch Tonight, note polishing and film stills run on AI that costs real money per use. Right now that is paid for out of a fixed pot of credit.
When that pot runs out, those features may be reduced or switched off entirely. We would rather say so plainly now than surprise you later. Everything else — your ratings, your notes, your watchlist, who you follow, the episode list, export and delete — keeps working and stays free regardless.
There is a weekly limit on AI use per account, and a shared daily ceiling across everyone. On a busy day the shared ceiling may be reached before your own limit is. Both numbers can change without notice; they exist to keep the service affordable rather than to sell you anything.
AI output can be wrong, odd or repetitive. Treat suggestions as suggestions.
Please don't: create accounts automatically or in bulk; try to get around the usage limits; scrape or bulk-download the service; attack, probe or overload the infrastructure; use it to store or transmit anything unlawful; or reverse-engineer it in order to reproduce it commercially.
Accounts doing any of the above may be suspended or deleted without notice.
Film details, posters and cast come from TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Streaming availability comes via TMDB from JustWatch. Episode information comes from a publicly shared, community-maintained spreadsheet. Film stills come from image search results, which belong to their respective rights holders and are shown as search results, not hosted by us.
We can't guarantee any of this third-party information is accurate or current.
If you believe material accessible through Rewatch Club infringes your copyright, email hello.rewatchclub@gmail.com with enough detail to identify the work and where it appears. We'll act promptly.
Rewatch Club is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. It is maintained by one person in their spare time. It may be unavailable, it may lose data, features may change or disappear, and it may stop existing. Keep your own copy via Export if any of that would matter to you.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or lost profits, arising from your use of Rewatch Club. Since the service is free, total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is zero — or, if you sent a gift, the amount of that gift.
Some places don't allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits.
You can stop at any time and delete everything from Settings. We may suspend or end accounts that break section 7, and may discontinue the service altogether. If we shut it down deliberately we will give notice in the app so you can export first.
If these terms change materially, the date at the top changes and a notice appears in the app. Continuing to use Rewatch Club after that means you accept the new version.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
